MY INVOLVEMENT IN GODSENT

This page contains all of the features that I had a major involvement in designing and programming.

COMBAT SYSTEM PROGRAMMER

As the combat programmer for Godsent, I was responsible for the design and programming of the movement, basic attacks and prayer system.

The prayer system is a spellcasting mechanic that allows the player to improve their stats for a short duration. It ties in with the theme of morality as the player can choose to take on dark powers to speed up the cast time of these prayers.

AI PROGRAMMER

I designed the enemy AI, which mostly consists of behaviours such as chasing the player, attacking when in range and fleeing from the player when low on health.

 

Bosses feature a phase system that changes their attacks and behaviour depending on their health.
